Lessons

I have been giving private lessons for around five years, in person and online (fluent in both Zoom and Skype), rudimental (snare, quads, or bass) and drum set, any age group, or from anywhere in the world! I’ve taught folks from Japan, Sweden, Germany, Canada, and Hong Kong, which has been awesome! So yeah, location doesn’t matter.

*Due to COVID, I’m currently only doing lessons online*

Can just be a one time thing or a long term regularly scheduled time (weekly, monthly, whatever works for you!). We can work on whatever you would like—fundamentals, technique, audition materials, advanced vocabulary, learning DCI/WGI licks, anything! I usually do half-hour or hour long time intervals but if you really want to do a longer lesson just let me know.

The best way to set up and schedule a lesson is probably through a direct message on Instagram or an email. You can click the buttons at the bottom of the page to find these links quickly! Pay is sliding scale (which means pay however much you can afford within certain rates rather than one flat rate) and I can tell you the exact rates when you’ve contacted me.

Writing

Are you in need of battery percussion music for your ensemble? Who isn’t! I have been writing drumline music for marching band and indoor percussion productions for the past two years, as well as drumline exercises and etudes for some years prior.

I have primarily used Finale and MuseScore to write, since those were what the other arrangers I’ve worked with have used. But, I am currently learning Sibelius and could use that if that’s what you and your groups prefer to use. I would feel comfortable writing for any class/skill level/age group and would be happy to chat with you about your group to get a sense of these things before writing.

Best contact for setting up a writing project would be via my email, for which there is a button at the bottom of this page, or you can find it on the Contact page. Here are some samples of my writing:

Recording

If you need a drumset part recorded for a track you’re working on, I could also do that! I have been playing drumset nearly as long as snare drum (about 12 years) and have been playing gigs since I was in middle school. I’m comfortable with any genre and am happy to collaborate on how you would like drum parts to fit into your project.

I would be excited to discuss the drumsets and recording equipment I have available to me in order to best fit the style/vibe you are looking for (and because I’m becoming a bit of a gear nerd). Again, the best way to contact me is through Instagram DM or email! Here are some samples of a recording a did playing various styles/tempos:
